KINGSTON – Ulster County Government and its Civil Service Employees Association unit announced a three-year contact on Tuesday.
The union, the largest bargaining unit, represents over 900 county employees.
The retroactive agreement runs from January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2019. The workers will receive a two percent raise in each of the three years of the pact.
County Executive Michael Hein praised the county workforce “who are committed to providing essential services to our citizens.”
CSEA Unit President Janet Knott said the county negotiating team was “not only fair and professional, but clearly appreciate the hard work or our over 900 CSEA members.”
