Marlboro man charged with trying to pass off funny money

TOWN OF ULSTER – Police charged a Marlboro man with felony criminal possession of a forged instrument after he allegedly tried to make a purchase at a Town of Ulster area business with counterfeit money.
Sven Kehoe, 19, had fled before Ulster Police arrived, but was located and taken into custody. He was also charged with criminal possession of stolen property following his arrest on March 21.
Kehoe was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.
