WOODRIDGE – A Monticello man is in the Sullivan County Jail without bail following his arrest on a charge of sexually abusing a child.
Woodridge Police arrested Ramon Luke Figueroa, 55, after the victim’s mother discovered inappropriate text messages between her 12-year-old daughter and Figueroa, who is a coworker of hers.
The mother reported the discovery to police.
An investigation revealed that Figueroa allegedly had sexual contact with the child. He was charged with a felony of sexual abuse and a misdemeanor or endangering the welfare of a child.
