Three-car crash on Rt. 9 in Town of Poughkeepsie

POUGHKEEPSIE – The Town
of Poughkeepsie Police are investigating a three-car crash at 11:24 this
morning on Route 9 in the area of Old Post Road.

One of the people involved sustained serious personal injuries and was
transported by ambulance to MidHudson Regional Hospital.

The roadway remained partially closed during the investigation.

Motorists are being asked to avoid the area until the roadway has been
fully opened.
