GREENBURGH – Police are
investigating a late afternoon fatal car crash in the Thruway in the Town
of Greenburgh.
A vehicle traveling northbound on I-87 was involved in an accident at
around 4:40 p.m. The driver was transported to Westchester Medical Center
with serious injuries and was later pronounced dead.
The identity of the motorist has not been released pending notification
of relatives.
The accident is under investigation by the State Police Collision Reconstruction
Unit.
