PEEKSKILL – Three men with lengthy arrest records are facing charges of possession and sale of heroin following the execution of several search warrants on Monday in northern Westchester County.
The arrests were made by Peekskill City Police and the Westchester County Heroin and Opioid Task Force.

Brown

Mair

Pritchett

Arrested were John Brown, and Mark Mair, both 58 and from Peekskill and Charles Pritchett, 65, of the Bronx..
Police executed search warrants at 118 Old Bay Street in Peekskill and on a vehicle belonging to Pritchett, which was stopped in the Village of Croton.  Recovered were over 200 bags of heroin and authorities seized the 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe, which was used to transport heroin from the Bronx to Peekskill where it was being sold by Mair and Brown.
Police said the heroin being sold was linked to several overdoses in the area.
All three were charged with felony criminal sale of a controlled substance and conspiracy.
Mair and Brown have criminal histories dating back to 1976 while Pritchett’s goes back to 1982.
Mair served seven years of a seven to 21 year sentence stemming from a manslaughter conviction in the Bronx in 1980.
The Westchester task force is comprised of members of the Westchester County Department of Public Safety and police departments from Peekskill, Croton, Mount Pleasant, Port Chester, Yonkers and Yorktown.
“Clearly the criminal element does not operate within jurisdictional boundaries and thanks to the strong relationships amongst law enforcement agencies in Westchester County, police are able to interrupt the supply of illegal narcotics into our communities,” said Peekskill Police Chief Eric Johansen.
