School bus driver arrested for making terroristic threat

GREENVILLE – A Minisink Valley Central School District bus driver
was arrested on Wednesday on a charge of making a terroristic threat.

State Police said the driver, Albert DiPaola, 71, of the Town of Greenville
had allegedly made threats of violence against other employees at the
district’s bus garage.

DiPaola was charged with one felony count of making a terroristic threat.

Police said the threats were made only to staff at the bus garage and
did not involve students, teachers or other staff in the school district.

DiPaola was remanded to the Orange County Jail pending a future court
appearance.
