POUGHKEEPSIE – A Red Hook man has been arrested on two counts each of forgery and possession of a forged instrument, all as felonies.
State Police conducted a traffic stop just after 3 a.m. on January 26 on Route 9 in the Village of Fishkill. During the stop, officers noticed the license plate appeared to be forged. Further investigation determined that Matthew Minnow, 38, forged two dealer plates in attempt to place additional vehicles on the road with the same registration.
Minnow was released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
