Horton
AMENIA – State Police from the Dover Plains barracks have arrested
a 34-year-old Amenia man on charges of first-degree rape and criminal
sexual act, both as felonies.
On January 19, troopers received a complaint from a victim of rape.
Police began an investigation and determined that Cresson Horton allegedly
forced the victim to perform sexual acts. The victim knew Horton.
He was arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail. A full order
of protection was requested on behalf of the victim and granted by the
court.
