Truck is sitting on blocks after thieves stole the tires
MOUNTAINVILLE – Police in the Town of Chester are investigating
the theft of large tires from trucks parked at a distribution facility
at 19 Industry Drive in the Mountainville section of the town.
Four tires were stolen last weekend from one truck and two were removed
from another.
In both cases, the truck wheel drums were placed on blocks once the tires
were removed.
Chief Todd Hazard said investigators are checking security video in an
effort to solve the case.
