EAST FISHKILL – Elizaville-based Sloop Brewing Company will develop a 26,000-square-foot brewery at the former IBM campus in East Fishkill. The company will be one of the first tenants in the new Dutchess County iPark.
The new site will allow the company to increase production by relocating its brewery to the East Fishkill location. “With our new 120 barrel tanks we can make enough beer to be in bars and stores throughout the Northeast – but we’ll still have the 30 barrel tanks, to keep making small-batch beer, hone our craft, and try new things like we’ve always been proud to do,” said Justin Taylor, Sloop’s brewmaster and cofounder.
The new location is expected to be operational by May with the new tasting room opening this coming summer.
Their Elizaville location at Vosburgh Orchards will continue serving Sloop beers in Columbia County.
