Fire damages Sullivan County diner

ROCK HILL –The Rock Hill Diner in Rock Hill on Rock Hill Drive was closed on Tuesday following a fire that damaged the kitchen.
The two-alarm fire was called in shortly before 11 p.m.
Fire Chief Kris Gwiozdowski said the fire was contained to the kitchen with smoke and water damage to the dining area.
Sullivan County Sheriff Michael Schiff, who was on the scene, said the Rock Hill Fire Department made quick work of extinguishing the fire and containing the damage.
Monticello, Wurtsboro and Woodridge fire departments assisted.
