TOWN OF NEWBURGH – The driver of a car in the Town of Newburgh was killed when the vehicle ran off the road and struck a utility pole New Year’s morning.
Police communications report the accident occurred shortly after 7 a.m. when the vehicle ran off Route 300 near Gardnertown Road.
The accident remains under investigation.
