GOSHEN – A Radford, Virginia man was arrested in the early morning hours on Wednesday, December 20 at the Super 8 Motel on Route 300 in the Town of Newburgh.
Paul Carper, 46, is wanted as a fugitive from justice stemming from a 44-count indictment warrant issued in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The indictment alleged several sexual assault and child pornography charges.
Carper was arrested by members of the US Marshal’s NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force, which includes members of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. He was arraigned in Middletown City Court as a fugitive from justice and sent to the Orange County Jail without bail pending extradition to Virginia.
