NEW CITY – Clarkstown
Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Route
304 and Third Street in New City on Tuesday night. The victim sustained
serious injuries and was transported to Nyack Hospital.
The driver of vehicle fled the scene.
The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. as a 40-year-old New City man
was crossing Route 304 when he was struck by a dark colored SUV, which
fled the scene southbound on Route 304.
The Clarkstown Police Accident Investigation Unit is looking into the
accident. Anyone with information about it is asked to call the TIPS line
