Dutchess Democratic legislators select new leaders

POUGHKEEPSIE – The Democratic caucus of the Dutchess County Legislature
selected Hyde Park representative Hannah Black as minority leader and
Kristofer Munn, who represents Red Hook and Tivoli, as assistant minority
leader, in the 2018-19 legislation session.
Following the November elections, the Democratic caucus of the 25-member legislature grew from seven to 11 members.          
Black, 34, who will begin her second term as legislator next month, served on the Hyde Park Town Board from 2008 to 2009.
Munn, 46, will be starting his first term as a county legislator in January.
He served for five years on the Red Hook Planning Board and for three
years on the Red Hook Zoning Board of Appeals.
