TOWN OF WALLKILL – The gunfire that rang out Sunday night in the Town of Wallkill struck a car parked on Red Barn Lane also hit two residences at 29 and 31 Red Barn.
There were no injuries, Wallkill Police Chief Robert Hertman said Monday.
One neighbor, Audrey Schertzer, heard gunshots and later learned her sister’s on the same block was struck.
“Bullets went through my sister’s house into her kitchen table and into her freezer,” she said.
Schertzer said the situation was very scary.
Wallkill Police, with assistance from State Police, are investigating.
