YONKERS – A police investigation in Yonkers Friday evening resulted in a suspect being shot dead.
The FBI said one of their agents and a Yonkers City Police officer were involved in a shooting while conducting law enforcement activity.
“The subject who was shot was taken to the hospital, where he later died. No one else was injured, and there is no threat to public safety,” according to a statement from the FBI.
No other information was immediately released.
