VALLEY COTTAGE – A 32-year-old
Congers woman was struck by a car as she attempted to cross Route 303
near Brookside Avenue in Valley Cottage Tuesday evening.
Clarkstown Police said the victim was found lying in the roadway when
police arrived. She was transported to Nyack Hospital for treatment. Her
medical status was not known to police as of Wednesday morning.
The driver of the vehicle, a 72-year-old woman from Haverstraw, remained
at the scene.
The Clarkstown Police Accident Investigation Team continues its investigation.
No summonses were issued or arrests made in connection with the incident.
