TOWN OF MONTGOMERY – The
man killed in a two-vehicle crash on Route 17K in the Town of Newburgh
on Tuesday morning has been identified by State Police as Louis Williams,
22, of Walden.
Crawford Police were attempting to stop him for a vehicle and traffic
violation when he sped away into the Town of Montgomery when he lost control
around a curve and struck another vehicle.
That driver, Kristopher Kolvenbach, 27, was injured. He is a police officer
in the villages of Montgomery, Maybrook and Walden.
