Columbia County woman arrested for assault and endangering a child

STUYVESANT – A Stuyvesant woman was arrested on Tuesday and charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child, both as misdemeanors, following a complaint of possible abuse on Monday.
State Police investigated and found Sabrina Rawlins, 31, had extinguished cigarettes on the hands of a seven-year-old child.  She was sent to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $3,000 bond.
