MONTICELLO – Sullivan
County Government has been made aware of a phone service issue impacting
residents in the 888-xxxx exchange which covers much of the Town of Mamakating.
Other Frontier exchanges in that area may be affected also.
Residents calling 9-1-1 have reported receiving a busy signal.
Frontier Communications and Verizon have been notified and are working
on the issue. As an alternate, residents may call the 7-digit emergency
line (845)583-7100 to report an emergency.
