WHITE PLAINS – Westchester County Executive-elect George Latimer has named the leaders of his transition team as he takes over the reins of county government in January.
He selected County Legislator Kenneth Jenkins and former legislator and former Pleasantville mayor John Nonna to head the transition which will include a 17-member core committee and six policy committees covering all facets of county government. An additional 60 people will be named to those.
The transition team will also monitor the specifics of the 2018 budget,
“The work of the transition team will extend to mid-January as our administration takes office,” Latimer said.
