Poughkeepsie woman charged with forgery and grand larceny

BEEKMAN – A Poughkeepsie woman was arrested by State Police and charged with forgery and grand larceny, both felonies, in connection with a forged check.
Daria Murtagh, 38, allegedly forged the signature of a person’s stolen check in Chelsea Cove in the Town of Beekman and then chased it for $1,100.75 at a Poughkeepsie bank.  She was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Beekman Town Court.
