Several slightly hurt when bus strikes utility pole

Several emergency units responded

MONROE – Some passengers were injured Wednesday evening when a Coach USA bus struck a utility pole in a commuter parking lot off Route 17M in Monroe.
Between 20 and 30 people were on the bus when it struck the pole head-on. As many as 11 people sustained injuries. Ambulances from southern Orange County responded to the scene.
State and Monroe Village Police investigated.
