Middletown budget expected under tax cap

MIDDLETOWN – City officials in Middletown are about two weeks away from presenting a tentative 2018 budget.  City Treasurer Donald Paris said it is expected to come in under the state tax cap.
The preliminary spending plan will be presented to the Board of Estimate on November 2 and the full common council on November 21. Adoption by the council will come in December, after review.
