Restaurant employee stabs co-worker with wine bottle opener

SOMERS – A Scarsdale man has been arrested on a felony assault
charge for allegedly stabbing a restaurant co-worker several times with
a wine bottle opener.

State Police also charged Ardijan Taraku, 38, with misdemeanor criminal
possession of a weapon.

Taraku allegedly assaulted the victim at about 3:15 a.m. on Sunday, October
15 during a physical altercation behind the restaurant building.
Taraku was released on his own recognizance.

Police learned of the assault when they received a report of an assault
victim at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut.
