First responders on the scene of the Thruway crash on Saturday

TOWN OF WOODBURY – A 24-year-old Elmhurst man was killed in a two-car
crash on the northbound Thruway in the Town of Woodbury. The accident
occurred on Saturday at 9:30 p.m.
State Police said driver error caused a two-car accident resulting in
Eric Luzardo being pronounced dead at the scene.
All other people involved in the crash are listed as having non-life threatening
injuries, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
