NEW PALTZ – A minor electrical
fire at New Paltz Middle School before students arrived led to the early
dismissal of students on Monday.
Students were transported directly to the high school and the middle schoolers
were all transported home at 10 a.m.
The two-alarm fire was called in with a report of a smoke condition in
the building. New Paltz and Highland fire departments were called to the
scene.
There were no reports of injuries.
