VILLAGE OF LIBERTY – A Liberty man was sent to the Sullivan County Jail without bail on Friday after he allegedly pulled a knife of another man and threatened him while the two were at the Liberty ShopRite supermarket.
Village Police charged Kevin Nathaniel, 66, with the felonies of criminal possession of a weapon and tampering with physical evidence, as well as a misdemeanor of menacing. Police said Nathaniel had hidden the knife under a large storage container prior to their arrival.
