Three arrested by Sullivan Welfare Fraud Task Force

LIBERTY – Three people were arrested by the Sullivan County Welfare Task Force in separate cases.
Daniel Davis, Jr., 43, of Liberty, was charged with a misdemeanor of non-support of a child. He allegedly owes $41,621 in unpaid child support. He was released pending a future court appearance.
Tyrone Fleming, 59, of Liberty, was charged with welfare fraud and offering a false instrument for filing, both as felonies. He allegedly stole $4,043 in Medicaid benefits. He was released pending a future court appearance.
Tavia Heintz, 24, of Monticello was charged with misdemeanor welfare fraud. She allegedly stole $1,175 in HEAP benefits. She was released on an appearance ticket in court.
