Lee: “He’s a crazy guy”
CHESTER – Dr. Hubert Hojae Lee came to the United States in 1971
with a PhD. The Chester resident is a member of the Orange County Human
Rights Commission and president of the philanthropic Korean-American Foundation
USA.
He offers an unsettling assessment of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
“He is not scared to attack the United States,” he said.
Lee said Kim Jong-un is a ruthless leader.
“He doesn’t care who is destroyed or who he kills. He doesn’t
care,” Lee said. “He’s a crazy guy. Nobody controls
him.”
Lee said while previous presidents have done nothing to curb the North
Korean regimes, President Trump’s future hangs in the balance.
“President Trump has three more years left. If he cannot do something
to handle the North Korean nuclear weapons, he is not going to be re-elected.”
And Lee said Trump must do something if it means killing Kim Jong-un just
as the US took out Bin Laden.
“President Trump has to do something. If he doesn’t do something,
he is just a puppet.”
Trump and Kim Jong-un have been engaging in a war of words over the North
Korean leader’s firing of missiles and threatening to aim them at
the US.
