TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE –
A 29-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with murder for shooting
her live-in boyfriend to death at their 106 Van Wagner Road residence
in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
Police charged Nicole Addimando in the death of Christopher Grover early
Thursday.
At around 2:16 a.m., a Town of Poughkeepsie officer on patrol was flagged
down by Addimando, who said she had been involved in an incident with
her boyfriend. A check of the home found Grover shot dead.
Addimando was arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without
bail pending a future court appearance.
Police Captain Kenneth Roman said the circumstances surround the shooting
remain under investigation, but there is no threat to public safety.
Town Police were assisted at the scene by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s
Office, District Attorney’s Office and Arlington Fire Department.
