NEWBURGH – A man and woman were arrested early Friday morning when
Newburgh City Police, with assistance from Town of New Windsor Police,
executed a search warrant at 213 North Miller Street in the city.
The action followed several months of investigation into narcotics sales
from that location.
Willie Burks, Jr., 59, was charged with two felonies of criminal possession of drugs and a misdemeanor for criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
Police also charged Bernadette Henegain, 54, who was found to have an active arrest warrant from Newburgh City Court.
