STEWART AIRPORT – The Resorts World Catskills resort being completed in the Town of Thompson is expected to attract more than just residents of the greater New York metropolitan area.
Gamblers are expected to come from around the world.
Executive Vice President Charles Degliomini said you can expect jumbo
jets flying high rollers in Asia to Stewart International Airport.
“We will probably be doing it via private chartered planes coming in, landing with high net worth players, coming to our new casino,” Degliomini said.
Those gamblers would then be flown by helicopter or driven to the casino about 45 minutes away.
