WASHINGTON – In the wake of North Korean’s latest missile tests, one area member of Congress said the United States must maintain its strong defense.
Rep. John Faso (R, NY-19) said he doesn’t think Kim Jong Un is looking at engaging in a global conflict, but we must be at the ready at all times.
“We have to be prepared and this is why funding for missile defense is so critical to defend the United States homeland and also defend our allies around the world,” Faso said.
The UN Security Council held an emergency session for the second time in a week on Monday to address the North Korea situation.
