MID-HUDSON – Thunderstorms with strong winds and heavy downpours
tore through parts of the Mid-Hudson Valley late Tuesday afternoon.
In one area of the Town of Wappinger, tree limbs were brought down on
roofs and branches were strewn across roads.
One area particularly hard hit was Gold Road and Myers Corners Road in
Wappingers.
The storm rolled from east to west, making it to the Middletown area with
less punch three hours later.
