Teen arrested after ripping off drug customers

SAUGERTIES – A Kingston youth was arrested by Saugerties Police Monday evening after he allegedly arranged to meet four people to sell them marijuana, but took their $100 and fled without delivering the 10 grams he promised.
Police say Cameron Davis, 17, called 911 to say he was being chased by four people who were threatening to kill him. Police found the vehicle with the four people and learned of the rip-off.
Davis was tracked down to his apartment where they found marijuana, packaging materials and scales for weighing marijuana.  
Davis was charged with misdemeanors of attempted criminal sale of marijuana, petit larceny and a violation of unlawful possession of marijuana. He was released on an appearance ticket to return to justice court.
