The incubator will be at Touro College in the heart of Middletown

MIDDLETOWN – The seven-county regional business incubator called
The Accelerator will set up a new facility at Touro College for Osteopathic
Medicine in Middletown.
The Accelerator, which got its start through the Orange County Industrial Development Agency, has small business manufacturing facilities in New Windsor adjacent to Stewart Airport.
The Middletown complex will house 10 businesses in medical-related fields, said IDA Managing Director Vinnie Cozzolino.
“The focus of that Accelerator will be medical devices design and
manufacturing, medical application software and over-the-counter personal
care products,” Cozzolino said.
Ten companies that have been in business for two years or less will locate at the college campus. Several of them are from the Hudson Valley while one is from Japan and one from northern New Jersey.
The facilities will be built to suit the businesses and the Accelerator should open in mid-November, Cozzolino said.
