STEWART AIRPORT – American Airlines is retiring its fleet of Bombardier Dash 8 turboprop aircraft and converting to the Embraer 145 regional jet for its flights between Stewart International Airport near Newburgh and Philadelphia.
The airline had been flying three daily roundtrips but cut back because of low demand.
An airline spokesman said they will resume three daily flights in November.
