Spring Valley man arrested on bench warrants and other charges

HILLCREST – A 32-year-old Spring Valley man was arrested Saturday night in the Hillcrest area of the Town of Ramapo and found to have active bench warrants for his arrest from the towns of Ramapo and Haverstraw.
The man, who Ramapo Police did not identify, was driving with eight suspensions on his license. He was also found in possession of cocaine and charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance.
