POUGHKEEPSIE – City Police were investigating a shooting in Poughkeepsie late Monday afternoon in which the victim sustained a wound to his foot, according to authorities. The incident occurred at North Perry Street at Mill Street. Police say five shots were fired.
The man, tentatively identified as Shaquan Rogers, was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
City Police and the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office were on the scene and later located a suspect, who was taken into custody without further incident.
