MONTICELLO – Police in Monticello arrested a Monticello man on two counts of felony drug possession as well as misdemeanor criminally using drug paraphernalia and a violation of unlawful possession of marijuana.
The arrest of Brian Taylor, 35, came Friday at mid-morning following execution of a no-knock search warrant at Taylor’s apartment at 40 Cottage Street. Police seized just under 60 grams of crack cocaine, digital scales, packaging materials, a small amount of marijuana and $1,179 in cash.
Taylor was sent to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $35,000 bail.
Monticello Police were assisted by the Sullivan County District Attorney’s Office and State Police.
