TOWN OF STANFORD – The Bank of Millbrook branch in Stanfordville was robbed Monday afternoon when a man pulled what appeared to be a handgun and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.
State Police said he walked into the bank at around 1:13 p.m., displayed the weapon and fled on foot. It is believed he got into a light colored crossover or SUV.
The suspect is described as a white man between 25 and 35 years old, about five feet, 10 inches tall, wearing a dark colored winter cap, winter coat, dark colored pants, blue latex type gloves, a surgical mask, and sunglasses.
Anyone with information about the robbery or the identity of the suspect is asked to call the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Poughkeepsie at 845-677-7300. All calls may be kept confidential.
