NEW WINDSOR – State Police are investigating a fatal accident in New Windsor Friday afternoon. The single car accident happened shortly before 2:00 Toleman Road, just off busy Route 207.
Police say an elderly woman driving an older Toyota which went off the road clipping a utility pole, then crashing into a tree.
Paramedics found the victim dead at the scene. She was the only person in the car.
The name of the victim had not been released as of earlier this morning.
The investigation is ongoing.
