PLEASANT VALLEY – State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested a Beekman man for possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child, a felony.
Leo Baltazar, 69, was arrested following an investigation conducted by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. In April, Baltazar arrived at Troop K Headquarters and provided police with computer equipment from his home that revealed numerous pornographic images depicting children. On August 1, police seized additional computer equipment from his home.
Baltazar is in the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
