GHENT – A rash/skin condition reported at the Whittier Nursing Home in Ghent has been monitored by the Columbia County Health Department and after consultation with the state Health Department, the county lifted the restrictions that had voluntarily imposed by the nursing home or the county.
Following examination of patients by a state doctor and environmental personnel, the state indicated there are no health concerns related to the event at this time.
