Last defendants in “Operation Family Ties” plead guilty

GOSHEN – The final nine
suspects arrested in the Orange County narcotics bust “Operation
Family Ties,” entered guilty pleas to conspiracy and drug charges
before Judge Robert Freehill.

Lamont Williams, Sr. pled guilty to conspiracy and criminal sale of a
controlled substance. Corey Perdue pled guilty to conspiracy and attempted
criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Steven Hall, Corey Arnold, Sabina Herring, Gabriel Richards, Joseph Horace,
Ryan Nagle, William McNeill, and Earnest Washington each pled guilty to
conspiracy.

District Attorney David Hoovler said several of the defendants are facing
significant prison terms including Williams, who faces as much as 10 to
20 years in prison, and Hall, who faces five to 15 years. Other defendants
are facing shorter incarceration sentences in the Orange County Jail and
probationary terms.

The investigation that led to the arrests targeted the distribution of
heroin, cocaine, PCP, and marijuana in the City of Newburgh and several
surrounding towns in Orange County.
