HILLCREST – A 23-year-old
cab driver, who was shot in the head while on Eckerson Road in Hillcrest
on Monday, July 17, died from his injuries, Ramapo Police said Tuesday.
The man, whose name police did not make public, was found in his cab after
it had gone off the road and struck a tree.
He was initially transported to Nyack Hospital and later transferred to
Westchester Medical Center where he succumbed to his wounds on Tuesday,
July 25.
Ramapo, Spring Valley and State Police, as well as the Rockland County
Sheriff’s Office are continuing their investigation.
