KINGSTON – Police in Kingston have a man in custody who they believe
to have robbed the Key Bank branch at 267 Wall Street.

Police said around 2:45 p.m., they responded to a reported robbery where
a suspect entered the bank, demanded cash and left. Police did not say
if any money was handed over. No weapon was displayed and no one was injured.

He was last seen exiting through the rear entrance of the bank.

Kingston detectives pressed into action and developed a potential person
of interest. That man, Bradley Cook, 27, was located that evening and
eventually arrested for robbery.

Kingston Police were assisted by the Ulster County District attorney’s
Office and Town of Ulster Police K-9 Unit.
